In 1979 I graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law, and immediately went back to Alaska where Icontinued to work as a commercial fisherman. In all, I spent 5 years in Southeast Alaska working as a tenderman and a deck hand on several purse seiners.
In 1980 I opened a solo legal practice in Redmond, Washington and the following year moved to Kirkland where I joined forces with 6 attorneys in a space sharing arrangement and continued to develop my law practice. I was initially doing domestic work and district court criminal defense work.
In approximately 1985 I hired a paralegal who would affect the course of my practice. We had already worked together on district court traffic matters and together we continued to further develop my practice into a focused district court traffic related practice. This is where my work on speed related tickets developed. Additionally, in 1985 I was asked by former Judges John Lawson and James Kaiser (Northeast District Court in Redmond) to serve as a King County Judge Pro Tem and thereafter I sat as a Pro Tem Judge for several years on various district court benches through-out King County.
I have now pivoted my legal focus into the compliance, research, and Law Enforcement Officer Traceability of cannabis. Creating a division within my practice dedicated to the International Cannabis Union “ICU” that provides, Accredited Banking Resources, Health Care Resources, Legal Resources, Green Real Estate Funding and more to state compliant farmers.
